Putin, president for life?

Everything happened very quickly: in 24 hours, Russian deputies and senators approved the reform of the Constitution. With a bonus amendment, tabled at the last moment yesterday in the State Duma.

However, it changes a lot of things since it allows Vladimir Putin to run for two additional additional terms, therefore potentially remaining in power until 2036. Today, the Russian opposition talks of a pustch, a usurpation of the power, but for now, there is no protest on the streets. The opposition is taken aback by a president who is already preparing the sequel, which will happen after the end of his current mandate in 2024. Is Vladimir Putin looking to remain president for life in Russia?
