Ishikawa Prefecture has announced that it has been confirmed that men in their 70s living in the prefecture have been infected with the new coronavirus. The number of confirmed infections in Ishikawa prefecture is now seven.
Governor Tanimoto of Ishikawa Prefecture held a press conference on the afternoon of the 9th, and announced that men in their 70s newly living in the prefecture were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The man had a fever on the 5th of this month, and was diagnosed with pneumonia on the 8th in "Returnees / Outpatients Outpatient" on the 8th. Examination at the Ishikawa Prefectural Health and Environment Center on 9th revealed that the infection had occurred.
According to the province, the man traveled to Egypt late last month.
Seven people have now been infected in Ishikawa Prefecture.
