Commentator for 30 years of sporting events on the first channel, sometimes mocked for its flights and its approximations, Christian Jeanpierre is preparing to leave TF1. A divorce that seemed inexorable, while the group had been taking more and more distance from the journalist for several years.

Christian Jeanpierre was one of the voices of sport on TF1. He will soon no longer be part of the group. This is information revealed by our colleagues at L'Equipe : after 30 years in the business, Christian Jeanpierre would have had his dismissal served by François Pélissier, the head of sports and management for the TF1 group.

The reason for this separation, we do not know, but looking at the situation of Christian Jeanpierre, it seems to be in the air for some time.

Replaced by Grégoire Margotton for Euro 2016 and for Téléfoot

After commenting on all the Blues' meetings since 2008, Christian Jeanpierre had indeed been replaced by Grégoire Margotton just before Euro 2016 in France. Already a surprise decision for the one who had succeeded Thierry Gilardi after his sudden death.

Christian Jeanpierre then left his place at the head of Téléfoot two years later, still for the benefit of Grégoire Margotton. And so here it is now purely and simply released from TF1.
