On March 4, 2019, Luke Perry died from a massive stroke. The Beverly Hills actor was 52 years old and many fans and friends who wished to pay tribute to him for this first sad anniversary. This is the case of Ian Ziering, who played alongside him in the cult series.

Last month, during the Oscars, Luke Perry had been "forgotten" from the In Memoriam section, which honors the memory of all the movie stars who died in the 12 months preceding. If he was mainly known for his roles on television, in Beverly Hills or more recently Riverdale , the actor had recently worked with Quentin Tarantino in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood .
A decision that had angered her friend and sister Tori Spelling.
