The Director General of the Dubai Government Media Office, Mona Ghanem Al-Marri, inaugurated yesterday the ninth session of the Comic Con 2020 film and comic strip exhibition, the largest event of its kind in the region, which continues until the seventh of March in the Dubai World Trade Center.
Mona Al-Murry, Director of Events at the Middle East Film and Comics Exhibition, Michael Lambrecht, learned during the exhibition a tour of the components of the event, which is popular and attracts large numbers of visitors, especially young people who represent the main and largest segment, to what the exhibition offers Through a selection of specialized international companies, as well as a group of comic stars and comic books in the world, they will share their distinguished experiences with the exhibition's audience.
Busy program
Within this session, the exhibition includes a program full of activities and activities related to comics, movies, animation, manga and popular pop culture during the weekend, in addition to the participation of a number of important brands, such as: Speedy Comics, Finco, Shahid Platform, Manga Productions, and Athletes Co.
The exhibition includes a group of discussion sessions, accompanied by a number of the most important international stars, in addition to direct entertainment shows, cosplay shows, video games and interactive workshops, while the event also allows the public to obtain unique products and watch exclusive offers for a number of films.
Film lovers will have the opportunity to meet a number of international stars, including John Rees-Davies, who represented the character of the dwarf warrior "Gimlee" in "Lord of the Rings", Joseph David Jones from the American series "Nashville" and "Arrow", and the superman Brandon star Ruth and artist Mina Masoud, who will be present at the exhibition on Friday and Saturday. Visitors to the Middle East Film and Comics Exhibition “Comic Con” 2020 will be able to watch the first five minutes of the upcoming movie “Digimon Adventure: Last Revolution Kizuna”, before it is shown in cinemas later this year, in addition to the premiere of the movie Onward from Disney-Pixar, "Tower of Good" from "Crunchrol", and the Korean film "Parasite" Awarded by director Bong Joon-ho.
