And a report by Charlie DUPIOT

Shaparak Shajarizadeh is 44 years old. This Iranian entrepreneur found herself militant in the face of all the injustices she suffered, as a woman in her country. Imprisoned and forced into exile, she now lives in Toronto, Canada. She publishes, with the journalist Rima Elkouri, the book Freedom is not a crime with the editions Plon . She was still a child in 1979 when the Islamic Revolution made it compulsory to wear the veil for women in Iran, and restricted their rights. Charlie Dupiot met her during her visit to Paris.
