A surveillance camera caught a clip of a thief while he was “hunting” a Versace-designed gold necklace with a hook from an Australian store.

And the local police said today, Wednesday, that the thief shattered the shop window in the center of Melbourne's commercial district before using a fishing rod to steal a Versace-designed contract.
But it took "Fisherman" about three hours to catch his precious catch.

After his first attempts failed with a small hook, the man decided to use a larger hook, and in the end he was able to obtain the golden necklace from the neck of the display statue.
"It is very brave for someone to come with a fishing rod in the middle of the night" for the theft, said Victoria police official, Bidet Wighty. The police released the video in an attempt to arrest the thief.
