According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, those who have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus and who are on ventilators or receiving treatment in the intensive care unit, A total of 58 people, including 34 and 24 infected in Japan.
On a cruise ship, one other person has not been confirmed to be infected but is seriously ill.
Of the cruise ship passengers who are seriously ill, 14 have been confirmed to have a medical condition.
By age, there are 6 in their 80s, 19 in their 70s, and 10 in their 60s. There are 17 Japanese and 18 foreigners.
