Cruise ship newly confirmed infection of one crew member March 2 21:19

The outbreak of a new male coronavirus on a cruise ship, Diamond Princess, was confirmed. A total of 706 passengers and occupants of cruise ships were confirmed to be infected, excluding those who were infected after returning home.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, a single occupant has been newly infected on the Diamond Princess cruise ship anchored in Yokohama Port.

The crew is a foreign man in his thirties who has fever symptoms and is currently hospitalized. Infections were confirmed on the cruise ship Diamond Princess, with a total of 706 people excluding those who were found infected after returning home.
