Investigations (…) have ruled out any risk of contamination in the school environment: this child has not attended his school since his return to Montpellier after the family stay in Lombardy where the initial contamination took place. "

A 31 year old patient

The usual measures of isolation for 14 days are implemented for this 4-year-old child, with his parents, in conjunction with the pediatricians of the CHU, indicates the ARS.

The other case confirmed on Sunday is a 31-year-old patient, "who returned from Italy last week with his wife. The appearance of symptoms led him to request the center 15, which referred him to the teams that ensure the samples. He was taken in charge by the Montpellier University Hospital, and investigations are being carried out to identify the people who would have been in close and prolonged contact with this patient.
