Ehime Prefecture has announced that it has been confirmed that a woman in her forties who lives in Ainan-cho has been infected with the new coronavirus. This is the first time that infection has been confirmed in Ehime Prefecture.
According to Ehime Prefecture, a woman in her 40s living in Ainan Town, who was confirmed to be infected, was participating in a concert at a live house in Miyakojima-ku, Osaka on the night of March 15th.
The concert confirmed that two men in Osaka Prefecture and three women nurses living in Kochi were infected with the new coronavirus.
The woman was a friend of a woman living in Kochi City where the infection was confirmed, and since she participated in the same concert, she contacted the Returnees and Contact Center on March 29 to check for the virus. As a result, the infection was confirmed. So far, women have no symptoms such as fever or cough.
This is the first time a new coronavirus infection has been confirmed in Ehime Prefecture.
