Edouard Philippe announces the use of article 49.3 to have the pension reform project adopted without a vote. “To assume their mission and do their job, many deputies had to face a strategy of deliberate obstruction of a minority of deputies (…). The discussion on the merits could never be tied, or so in a disjointed way. Said the Prime Minister first. "More than 29,000 amendments remain to be examined, the Assembly could only examine 8 of the 65 articles of the text," argues the Prime Minister.
