Far beyond the cinema, Judy Garland had an equally exceptional singer's career. "Obviously, we all know" The Wizard of Oz " , but we don't necessarily know the whole career she had after. The career of actress but also of singer, great lady of the music hall, that we does not know her "remarked our journalist. "In the United States, Judy Garland is considered an icon" explains Mathieu Charrier. A fan of Judy Garland for a very long time, Renée Zellweger immediately agreed to play her on screen. It was an opportunity - and a challenge - that she could not pass up. "Renée Zellweger is Judy, she sweats Judy through every pore of her skin" says our specialist. "She took dance, singing lessons, you can see the emotion in her eyes, the melancholy throughout the film". A role which earned her the Oscar for Best Actress on February 10 in Los Angeles. "Renée Zellweger does a great performance as an actress" he concludes.
