Head of the Sorting, Classification, Pricing and Book Display Committee, Abdel Nasser Darwish, said that the first day of the festival (last Wednesday) witnessed the display of 400,000 copies of books and 600,000 copies are still in carton boxes. He praised the city's partners in organizing the festival, which contributed to overcoming all difficulties and the success of the festival.
It is noteworthy that the festival witnesses on the scene of activities distinguished artistic paragraphs, and many artistic and literary workshops and various cultural competitions, including a theater art workshop, a workshop for cheerful book breaks for children, in addition to writing the name in Arabic script, the open drawing program, and the young writer competition.
