Hope is directed by Maria Sødahl and is about how a family is affected when one of the family members becomes seriously ill. The script is based on Maria Sødahl's own life. She was told that she only had three weeks to live - but recovered against all odds.
Stellan Skarsgård plays the father in the family. Hope gets Swedish bio premiere this summer.
