In Crépy-en-Valois, a town in Oise where the 60-year-old man who died on Tuesday from coronavirus taught, the college will remain closed until next Wednesday inclusive. If the inhabitants of seem not particularly worried, measures have however been put in place: the pupils who have been in contact with the deceased teacher must in particular be tested.

In Crépy-en-Valois, in the Oise, the inhabitants do not give in to panic. While a 60-year-old teacher at La Fontaine College died on Tuesday of coronavirus, the Crépynois continue to live normally. Without worry, and without mask. "We are 200 meters from the college, but that doesn't worry me at all", assures Alain at the microphone of Europe 1. The man is getting ready to go to work by car, without protection. "It is not by worrying that I will avoid being infected," he adds.

Students must be tested

Not far from the college, Huguette, the windows of her house wide open, put into perspective. "We are always afraid of meeting someone, but who tells you who has it and who doesn't?" If she says she continues to shop normally, and takes care to wash her hands well and avoid "shaking hands or kissing", she says she is more worried about the children.
