He was sentenced to life imprisonment, deprived of political rights for life, and confiscated all personal property. The remaining 52 defendants were sentenced to imprisonment.

He was sentenced to 10 counts of crimes, including multiple punishments, life imprisonment, deprivation of political rights for life, and confiscation of all personal property. The accused Song Peng was sentenced to 18 years in prison, 5 years in deprivation of political rights, and confiscated 2 million yuan in personal property and a fine of 55.1 million yuan. The remaining 51 defendants were sentenced accordingly.
After the verdict of the first instance, Song Qi and others refused to accept and appealed. After hearing, the Liaoning High Court ruled to dismiss the appeal and upheld the original judgment.
