Recently, during an inspection by an employee of Shengli Oilfield in Zaozhuang, Shandong, a harbor seal with a length of about one meter was found next to a trench. This small animal has four limbs, a fat body and a round head. He has two big eyes and is very cute.

It is understood that harbor seals, also known as large-toothed seals and large-toothed seals, are marine mammals that live on the coasts and coasts of temperate and cold temperate zones. Harbor seals are the only pinfins that can reproduce in China's waters. They are national first-class protected animals. The Liaodong Bay in the Bohai Sea is one of eight breeding areas for harbor seals in the world.

According to analysis, the small harbor seal was likely to swim along the trench to the current place when the sea was at high tide, and because of the numerous trenches, it was stranded. In order to prevent the small harbor seal from being injured, the employees of Zhuangxi Oil Production Plant contacted the environmental protection and fishery administration department of Hekou District in time. After the staff of the fishery administration department arrived, everyone joined forces to send the small harbor seal back to the sea. (Edit Xiaozihe)
