Filming for "Une affaires française", a TF1 series, has started.

  • The first season is devoted to the Grégory affair.
  • Lauréna Thellier was chosen to join the cast.

"A French case" is a "collection of miniseries inspired by major criminal cases that have shaken the country and divided public opinion," announced TF1. It is a question of adapting various facts which have become true facts of society. This is the case with the Grégory case. The story of this little boy found dead in Vologne in 1984 has never been clarified. Netflix broadcast its documentary series on the subject in November, TF1 is also getting started.

While the cast including Michaël Youn, Guillaume de Tonquédec and Blandine Bellavoir, had been partially revealed, we learned on Allociné that Lauréna Thellier would also be part of the troupe. Aged 21, she is known for her interpretation of Estelle in "Mental", the new series from France.tv Slash. She was chosen to play the role of Murielle Bolle, the teenager who had testified against Bernard Laroche before withdrawing.

Everyone "to form an opinion"

The broadcast date is not yet known, but filming has already started near Strasbourg. The series will have six episodes, 52 minutes each.

The time, for each viewer, "to form an opinion, as fair as possible, on this matter not yet resolved," according to TF1.
