Four National Museums including Tokyo and Kyoto Closed temporarily from tomorrow February 26 20:22

In response to the spread of the new coronavirus, the National Cultural Properties Agency has decided to temporarily close four National Museums from 27th to 16th of next month.

Temporary closures will be held at the four national museums in Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, and Kyushu, and at three exhibition facilities at the Nara Institute for Cultural Properties, all of which will be closed from 27th to 16th next month and scheduled for the period. That they do not do.

The National Institute for Cultural Properties will determine if it can be resumed on or after next month, based on the future situation.
