The Director of Respiratory Diseases at the US Health Agency, Dr. Nancy Missoner, decided to meet journalists late yesterday, as a remedy against the Corona virus, which many events, conferences and meetings have been canceled because of during the past week.

Dr. Messoner told reporters over the phone that "data over the past week about the spread of the virus in other countries increased the level of anxiety and expectations in America that it is about to see the United States spread to Corona."

Mesoner yesterday warned Americans to start preparing for the spread of the Coronavirus after infections have appeared in a number of other countries.

Dr. Meissner's announcement indicated a change in the tone of the Atlanta-based health agency, which was largely focused on efforts to prevent the virus from entering the country and quarantining individuals from China, according to Reuters.
