At 17:00 on February 23, 2020, a deliberate homicide occurred on the east side of the south gate of Wenjing Mingyuan Community in Nangong City, resulting in two deaths and one serious injury. Upon investigation, it was determined that the criminal suspect, Shan Moufeng (nickname: Hao Nan), fled to Hengshui City with a murder weapon.

Because the case occurred during the critical period of the country's fight against the epidemic, it attracted great attention from leaders at all levels. Xingtai City organized more than 60 police forces such as criminal investigation, network security, and patrol police to rush to Hengshui to carry out arrests.

All policemen have overcome the difficulties of epidemic danger, handling cases in different places, and other unfavorable factors such as the strong anti-reconnaissance ability and high risk of criminal suspects. They have fully used investigative methods, accurately analyzed and judged, and conducted a detailed search of Taocheng District, Hengshui City. At about 5.50 pm on February 25, the criminal suspect Shan Moufeng, who will eventually hide in an abandoned factory building in Luzhuang, Taocheng District, Hengshui City, was arrested, and the murder weapon was recovered at the scene.
