A man in his 60s living in Nagano Prefecture was confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus. This is the first time an infection has been confirmed in Nagano Prefecture. According to Nagano Prefecture, the infection was confirmed to be a 60-year-old company officer living in Matsumoto Public Health Center.

The Matsumoto Public Health Center has control over eight cities and villages, including Matsumoto, Azumino, and Shiojiri, and five surrounding villages, but the prefecture does not specify the municipality where men live.

According to the prefecture, the man had a feeling of malaise on the 20th of this month and fever of 37-38 degrees on the 21st and consulted a medical institution, but after that he did not improve his symptoms and consulted a health center.
