The cultural news review of the popular podcast Swedish murder stories showed that podiatrist Sebastian Krantz read extensively from blogs and news articles in the pod and presented it as his own material. The criticism that followed the review led to the removal of 129 sections of the pod.

The TT News Agency contacted Sebastian Krantz after they became aware of the intrusion for a settlement, something that the Media Pillow was the first to report.

- We came to a settlement and that is the amount we agreed on which we sent an invoice to, says Per-Anders Broberg to the Culture News.

The invoice is not paid

What the amount is about, Per-Anders Broberg does not want to go in, but he says that they were based on what they would have paid if Krantz had asked permission to use their material.

- We also thought about how much we should take extra because he neither referenced source nor agreed with us on a price before using our material.

When Per-Anders Broberg checks during the conversation with the Culture News whether the invoice has been paid, he discovers it is not and that the due date has passed.

- It will be a question for the future what we do if it is not paid. I can't answer that today, he says.

"Will do the right thing for us"

Sebastian Krantz has previously apologized to his listeners for the plagiarism and said he wants to do the right thing for himself.

"We have to look through every section and simply do the right thing for ourselves," Sebastian Krantz previously told Culture News.

The cultural news is looking for Sebastian Krantz.
