Laurent Ruquier on the set of "We are not lying". - Rémy GRANDROQUES - FTV

"I let say and write. Everything is going well, ”Laurent Ruquier, contacted by 20 Minutes , said on Monday. The host of France 2 did not want to react to rumors of the end of his Saturday talk show, On ne pas pas couché , at the end of the season.

According to Le Parisien , the channel would consider not renewing the program at the start of the school year, in particular because of its audiences. The current season is followed by a little more than 800,000 viewers on average - the Saturday issue was watched by 759,000 people (15.5% audience share) -, almost half as much as five years ago.

No weariness

"We are only in February, it is far too early to talk about the start of the new school year because nothing is definitively fixed, but one thing is certain: Laurent Ruquier will be present in September on our channels , with ONPC or something else", advanced Takis Candilis, director of programs for France Televisions in the columns of Le Parisien . The latter "walks [rait] on eggs because he wants to keep Ruquier, to whom M6 does belly dancing", slipped an internal source to our colleagues.

The track of the sixth channel is not absurd since the host is in command of the Big Heads on RTL, a radio belonging to the M6 group.

Interviewed by 20 Minutes in September, Laurent Ruquier stated that he was not bored with On ne pas couché, which he has presented for fourteen seasons. "In any case, less than the journalists, obviously," he smiled.
