According to the official Weibo news of the Jiangsu Health and Health Commission, there were no new confirmed cases of new coronavirus pneumonia in Jiangsu Province at 04:00 on February 23, 2020. 16 new cases were discharged (1 of which was originally a critically ill case). Two new cases were added (formerly common cases).
As of 24:00 on February 23, Jiangsu Province had reported a total of 631 confirmed cases of new coronavirus pneumonia. Among them, there were 93 cases in Nanjing, 55 cases in Wuxi, 79 cases in Xuzhou, 51 cases in Changzhou, 87 cases in Suzhou, 40 cases in Nantong, 48 cases in Lianyungang, 66 cases in Huai'an, 27 cases in Yancheng, and 23 in Yangzhou. There were 12 cases in Zhenjiang, 37 cases in Taizhou, and 13 cases in Suqian.
Of the confirmed cases, 204 were hospitalized. Among them, 15 were mild cases; 181 were ordinary cases; 5 were severe cases (2 in Nanjing, 1 in Suzhou, and 2 in Huai'an); 3 were in severe cases (1 in Nanjing, 1 in Wuxi, 1 case in Lianyungang City).
There were 427 discharged patients. Among them, 52 were in Nanjing, 41 in Wuxi, 66 in Xuzhou, 36 in Changzhou, 50 in Suzhou, 33 in Nantong, 24 in Lianyungang, 39 in Huai'an, 24 in Yancheng, and 17 in Yangzhou. There were 10 cases in Zhenjiang, 26 cases in Taizhou, and 9 cases in Suqian.
At present, Jiangsu Province has tracked 12,620 close contacts, released 11,921 medical observations, and 699 are still receiving medical observations.
