According to the official Weibo news from the Beijing Health and Medical Commission, there were no new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in Beijing from 02:00 to 24:00 on February 23. There were 30 new suspected cases and 94 existing suspected cases. Thirty-two new close contacts were added, and a total of 2484 close contacts were identified, of which 1694 were released from medical observation. Nine patients with new crown pneumonia were discharged from Ditan Hospital, You'an Hospital, the Fifth Medical Center of the General Hospital of the PLA, the Hui People's Hospital, and the People's Hospital of Daxing District. Seven of them were male and two were female; the youngest was 2 years old and the oldest was 70 years old.

As of 24:00 on February 23, 399 cases have been confirmed in Beijing. 198 patients were discharged, 4 died, and 16 were critically ill. 12 cases in Dongcheng District, 53 cases in Xicheng District, 60 cases in Chaoyang District, 62 cases in Haidian District, 41 cases in Fengtai District, 14 cases in Shijingshan District, 3 cases in Mentougou District, 16 cases in Fangshan District, 19 cases in Tongzhou District, and 10 cases in Shunyi District. There were 29 cases in Changping District, 39 cases in Daxing District, 7 cases in Huairou District, 7 cases in Miyun District, 1 case in Yanqing District, and 26 cases came from overseas. No cases have been reported in Pinggu District.

Of the 399 confirmed cases, 189 were male cases, accounting for 47.4%, and 210 were female cases, accounting for 52.6%; the age range was 6 months to 94 years, of which 14 were under 5 years old, accounting for 3.5%, and 6 to 17 years old. There were 13 cases, accounting for 3.2%, 262 cases aged 18 to 59, accounting for 65.7%, and 110 cases aged 60 and above, accounting for 27.6%.
