Sun Wei, deputy director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said that since a maximum of 50 confirmed cases were added on a single day on February 6, the number of newly confirmed cases in Heilongjiang Province has gradually decreased steadily, and it has achieved a 7-day continuous decline.
As of 24:00 on February 21, Heilongjiang Province reported 479 newly diagnosed cases of new coronary pneumonia, 72 cases of severe cases, 12 deaths, and 183 discharged patients.
Heilongjiang Province tracked 15,906 close contacts, and 13,628 medical observations have been lifted.
