Dubai Quality Group launched the Emirati women's sub-group, chaired by Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, and a group of prominent and supportive female cadres for women over the past years.
The council includes: Dr. Hoda Al-Matroushi, Eng. Maitha bin Adi, Azza Al-Qubaisi, Fatima Al-Joker, Dr. Vandana Gandhi, and Dr. Rita Younis.
The Emirati women's sub-group started its activity by holding its first meeting, chaired by Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, and attended by members of the Council, with the aim of setting a strategic plan targeting Emirati women and residents in general, in the UAE. The meeting witnessed the presentation of a set of ideas aimed at increasing support for women within the business community, giving women a window to learn from their peers, exchanging knowledge and transferring it to their work, enhancing awareness of the role and status of women in Emirati society, and helping them to achieve a balance between family and work.
