The flu has hit the claws of the Melodifestival staff. Around fifteen people are ill before the last competition in Malmö, and people have been called in or moved around people to fill the gaps.

Melodifestival's project manager Anette Helenius has never participated in anything like it.

- That there are so many people sick during a production week, it's actually new to me, she says.

People at key functions

These are photographers, broadcast producers, a production manager, press officer, backstage manager and the person responsible for the voting.

- For that person, we fly in a substitute tomorrow. But these are key features we are talking about. At least fifteen of the production that has succumbed to the flu, says Anette Helenius.

Will this be noticed in the program on Saturday?

- We hope not. I don't think TV viewers will notice anything about it. It could be about details in such a case, says Anette Helenius.
