Rapper Pop Smoke , 20, has been killed Wednesday at his home in Hollywood. As the TMZ media has revealed, the artist has been shot by two individuals who have raided his home.
Citing the first police investigations, the media said that the motive for the murder could be theft in the home . At the moment the assailants have not been identified.
The events occurred at 0430 hours in the morning. The men accessed the masked house and, once inside, they would have hit and shot the rapper.
Pop Smoke, whose real name was Bashar Barakah Jackson , was considered one of the promises of hip hop. Last July he had published his first album, titled Meet the Woo .
Renowned personalities from the world of rap, such as 50cent , or Nicki Minaj , have lamented in their social networks the murder of Pop Smoke.
The murder of Pop Smoke adds to the violent deaths of rappers like Nipsey Hussle, XXXTentacion and Jimmy Wopo, killed in the last two years.
