Is secularism in decline in France?

Emmanuel Macron was in Mulhouse in the east of France today to fight against what he calls Islamist separatism which would threaten the country or some of its districts. This displacement, in the middle of the municipal election campaign, comes after what is commonly known as the Mila affair, named after this young girl threatened on social media after criticism of Islam.

Case which intervened itself after the anniversary of the attack on Charlie Hebdo , but also several polls on secularism which seems to indicate that the idea poses more and more question in a country which has never finished in discuss. Is secularism in decline in France? This is the question of the day.
