"I'm still the same. With a few more stories, ”she shares.

Last week, she broached the subject of urinary protection that she must wear since childbirth. "Raise your hand if you didn't know that you would also change your own diapers." After all these years in fashion, I never thought that disposable diapers would be my favorite piece of clothing, but here we are! She wrote with humor on Instagram.

A taboo subject

More and more women are daring to break the taboo surrounding postpartum. Ashley Graham indeed joins a movement which is gaining momentum and which can be followed on French-speaking social networks via #monpostpartum, launched by Illana Weizman and Morgane Korech. A courageous and militant act, when we know that the ABC channel and the Oscars refused, this year, to broadcast during the ceremony an advertisement of the brand Frida Mom, specializing in the intimate hygiene of young mothers. Reason invoked: the advertisement is "too raw with partial nudity".

In the commercial (above), we can simply see a woman, returning home after childbirth, awakened by the crying of her baby and who goes with difficulty to the bathroom, where, seated on the toilet, she changes her makeshift urinary protection and tries to ease her pains as she can. "Healing postpartum doesn't have to be that difficult," concludes the brand.
