At Takahama Nuclear Power Station Unit 3, the capillary is damaged.

At the Unit 3 of the Takahama Nuclear Power Station during the periodic inspection, it was found that two of the thin pipes passing through the "steam generator" were damaged. At Takahama Nuclear Power Plant, five pipes were found damaged in October last year at Unit 4, and Kansai Electric Power plans to investigate the cause in detail in the future.

Unit 3 of the Takahama nuclear power plant in Takahama-cho, Fukui Prefecture has been undergoing regular inspections since last month, and three "steam generators" that use hot water heated through a nuclear reactor to produce steam Was inspected.

As a result, it was found that two out of 10,000 thin pipes = thin pipes were damaged and thinned.

Tubular wounds ranged up to 12 millimeters wide and 8 millimeters long, with an estimated depth of approximately 0.7 millimeters, with 56% being cut.

Kansai Electric Power reported the inspection results to the Nuclear Regulatory Agency on Tuesday, as it would be reported that it would exceed 20% by national standards.

At the Takahama nuclear power plant in October last year, a crack was found in five small tubes of the "steam generator" at Unit 4, requiring investigation and countermeasures.

Kansai Electric Power commented, "I'm afraid that the same event was found at Takahama Nuclear Power Station Unit 4 and we were worried. We will try to find the cause first."
