The French series "Vampires" will be available in full on March 20 - Netflix

For once, Netflix preferred photos to video to teaser the upcoming arrival of a series, Vampires on Friday, March 20. If television already has its share of blood suckers, just on Netflix with Dracula or V Wars , this new 100% French creation could make the difference. Adapted from a novel by Thierry Jonquet, it was developed by Benjamin Dupas ( Dix percent, Vernon Subutex ) and depicts a world where vampires are there today among us in Paris. Half human, half vampire, the young Doïna (Oulaya Amamra, César for best female hope for Divines in 2017) becomes the object of all lusts, and a danger for her friends.

The new images shared by Netflix's French Twitter account reveal a very aesthetic universe, and we think as much of the Twilight saga as of the Mortal series. Suzanne Clément, Kate Moran or Aliocha Schneider complete the cast, and the six episodes of season 1 are directed by Vladimir de Fontenay ( Mobile Homes ) and Marie Monge ( Players ).
