An Air Force pilot launched an engagement ring of over 90,000 feet in the air to ask for his sweetheart's hand to get married in amazing shots.

The pilot from Missouri, with the help of his friend, fired the balloon loaded with a piece of metal, and installed a camera to track the movement of the balloon.

But moments before the balloon flew over, the pilot replaced the coin with a traditional engagement ring that he hoped his fiancée would find when the balloon returned to Earth.

The pilot said that he had to rely on his studies of air engineering and the training he underwent to make the mission a success.
