With the spread of the new coronavirus, a fifth charter flight arrived at Haneda Airport on the morning of 17th, carrying Japanese and Chinese spouses wishing to return from Hubei Province, China. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, a total of seven of the 65 people who arrived were hospitalized at medical institutions.

Fifth charter flight arrived at Haneda Airport before 7am. On the fifth flight, a total of 65 people, including 36 Japanese who wish to return home and 29 Chinese nationals such as Japanese spouses, had doctors and nurses on board, fever and cough etc. I checked for any symptoms.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, seven of the 65 people who arrived were hospitalized, including those who complained of cough and sore throat.

Others also took a bus from the airport to get a virus test, and headed to a medical institution. Regardless of whether they have any symptoms or not, they will be asked to undergo a virus test and then stay at a lodging facility in Wako-shi, Saitama for follow-up.

The Japanese government wants to make a break in returning support by charter aircraft with this fifth flight.
