According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the depression was that of the pedestrian crossing on Route 1. The hole was 38 cm wide, about 80 cm long and about 4.5 meters deep. For now, there are no injuries.

The site is a busy area with many office buildings close to Tokyo Station, and traffic and traffic are still partially restricted on the roads and sidewalks near the collapsed place.
