Scientists have developed a simple and fast fingerprint test to identify drug users such as cocaine, heroin and amphetamines in just two minutes, even after washing their hands, according to the British "Mirror" website.

The test depends on the chemicals that are excreted in the sweat, so it can be used on the dead bodies after death to determine whether they were caused by abuse or an overdose.

"The fingerprint is a great way to test drugs because it is very fast and effective, and using our methodology, it is possible to analyze the fingerprint sample in less than two minutes," said co-author of the study from the Department of Chemistry at Sari University, Dr. Min Gang.

He continued: the effects of benzoylikonin can be traced in particular, which is produced in the body when cocaine is ingested.
