The patient tells the «Emirates Today», the story of her suffering, saying: “In 2010 I felt very tired, difficulties in sleeping, lack of appetite and itching in the body, so my son took me to the nearest clinic from the dwelling, analyzes and medical examinations were performed, and the doctor told me that I was suffering from high pressure Blood, which led to the accumulation of harmful substances and fluids in the body, a decrease in the functional properties of the kidneys, and advised me to go to a government hospital in Al Ain, to accurately diagnose the condition. ”

She continued: «My son took me to Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, and all medical examinations were repeated and the doctor told me that I have kidney failure, which led to the loss of college functions, the accumulation of large quantities of fluids, minerals, salts and excreta inside the body, and I stayed in the hospital 10 days, to perform a dialysis And when my health started to settle down, the doctor told me that the most appropriate solution is kidney transplantation, and that process is not available inside the country, or washing every day and following up on the health status by controlling blood pressure levels and levels, and avoiding taking any medicinal drugs without consulting the doctor, because some of the Medicines cause damage to the kidneys And a deterioration in its functions and a diet through which adequate amounts of calories and balance in salts and fluids are taken.

She added, “Dialysis continues for two years. In 2012, I was able to perform a kidney transplant in Egypt, as a charity was sponsored by the state, and I stayed there for 30 days. The doctor told me to take medications and medical drugs after the transplant, and the previous health insurance covered the costs of medication. However, this year, I had difficulties renewing the health card after its completion to complete taking medications in Tawam Hospital in Al Ain City, where the renewal of health insurance is required for the patient to renew the insurance for all family members, which amounts to 22 thousand and 670 dirhams ».

She continued: «The problem is that our living conditions and our modest financial capabilities do not allow us to manage the amount of obtaining health cards at the present time, and I have no source of income except from my son who works in a private sector, and supports his family of five, with a salary that does not exceed 3000 dirhams, in addition To the help I get from friends and family, ”appealing to the people of goodness to help her manage the cost of obtaining health cards.
