When you grow up in a working class environment, it’s not easy to think that you have the right to brilliant studies, the right to love books passionately, the right to be touched by a painting or a play, the right to wear something other than jogging. In Les baskets et le costume , published by Lattès, 20-year-old Abdelilah Laloui recounts his journey from the school of Valenton in Val-de-Marne at the Lycée de Créteil to the benches of Sciences-Po.
