Four unions of the RATP, including Unsa, the company's first organization, called on Friday for a "dead day" on February 17 on all the networks of the management to obtain "withdrawal" from the pension reform.

In a joint press release, Unsa, SUD, FO and Solidaires called on the agents to "go on strike on February 17", but also to "mobilize on February 20" to demonstrate and participate "in all the inter-professional actions organized to express the rejection of the government project ”.

"A black Monday in transport"

The four unions, which together represent nearly 50% of agents, "recall their firm and determined opposition to the establishment of the pension system by points". "Since December 5, 2019, the general assemblies of RATP strikers have unanimously voted against this bill, and in favor of its outright withdrawal," they note.

Thursday, the traction pole of the Unsa-RATP had already asked "all metro and RER employees (to) mobilize very massively for a black Monday in transport" on February 17, the day that will begin examining the pension reform project, in session, at the National Assembly.

RATP agents began their strike against the pension reform on December 5. They had voted on January 17 in most of their general assemblies to suspend the strike movement, in order to "regain strength" before mobilizing again on January 24, the day of the presentation of the reform project in the Council of Ministers .
