A week ago, a bus driver in Nara, confirmed to be infected with a new type of coronavirus, revealed that the prefecture was still hospitalized but was recovering. It also means that 17 people in the prefecture who have been in close contact with men have no symptoms.

A man in his 60s in Nara prefecture, who served as a bus driver carrying tour passengers from Wuhan, China, was confirmed infected with the new coronavirus on 28th of last month.

According to Nara Prefecture, a press conference on the following four days about his condition, men are recovering as a result of treatment, such as a decrease in fever.

However, the virus is still being detected, and it will be possible to determine when to discharge from the hospital based on the results of the test.

In addition, out of the 22 people who came into close contact with men, 17 people in Nara prefecture have not had any symptoms such as pneumonia so far.

The prefecture states, "There is no epidemic in Nara prefecture," and will check the health status until the end of the incubation period for the last person to contact a man on August 8th.

On the other hand, of the five people outside the prefecture who came in close contact with men, two bus guides in Osaka and Chiba were confirmed to be infected, and the remaining three had their respective municipalities check their health.
