His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, during his presidency today (Tuesday) announced the third meeting of the Dubai Council to allocate 500 million dirhams to improve life in the neighborhoods of citizens in Dubai.
His Highness added through his account on the social networking site “Twitter” that these improvements will be based on what he wants (citizens) and not based on what the government departments are planning for them, pointing to allocating a page to receive citizens ’ideas about the facilities and facilities, squares and gardens they want in their neighborhoods
He said: Today in the Dubai Council, we also directed exempting the youth from the electricity delivery fees for their new residential homes for those whose construction cost does not exceed four million dirhams .. Adding his highness, “These are our decisions today in the Dubai Council ... and the next is better and the citizen will remain first, second and third as we always repeat.” .
His Highness announced that the Dubai Council launched the campaign “Our Lives” to collect ideas for all community facilities that will improve the quality of life in the residential neighborhoods of citizens in Dubai .. Or through the website http://Dubaicouncil.ae .. Adding His Highness “We tasked the Infrastructure Commissioner to follow up, classify and implement the ideas.
His Highness also announced a decision to exempt 422 citizens of non-performing housing loans from their debts to the program and exempt all citizens from mortgage fees related to housing loans.
And His Highness continued, “Today, we in Dubai Council ordered us to build 12 integrated councils in all Dubai neighborhoods ... to be a meeting place for citizens .. and places to bring them together, their activities and social events .. And we have assigned His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, the Commissioner of Infrastructure, to follow up on immediate implementation ... The neighborhood councils will supervise programs, events and plans These centers. ”
His Highness added, "Today, we decided to form neighborhood councils in Dubai from retired people with experience ... whose goal is to raise the needs of citizens ... and to suggest activities and initiatives to develop neighborhoods ... and improve the quality of life in Dubai neighborhoods ... And we commissioned the Commissioner of Citizens Services, His Excellency Abdullah Al-Marri, to implement immediately."
