Nacho Figueras, a polo player close to Prince Harry, agreed to discuss his friend's choice to give up his royal prerogatives in an ABC show, titled Royal Divide: Harry, Meghan, and the Crown .
"He is a father. He's a guy who tries to protect his little one and his lioness whatever it costs. I spoke to Harry a few days ago. He suffered a lot from everything that happened to him. He is suffering a lot because of the way people have judged him, "said Nacho Figueras.
Friends to the rescue
Recently, JJ Chalmers, another friend of Prince Harry met in the army, expressed a fairly similar opinion vis-à-vis the BBC. "When you look at his decision, I think his priority is to protect his family, because it's the number one rule, to be a father and a husband," said the former member of the Royal Marine.
