Diver who appeared on Setsubun demon appears in aquarium Osaka Minato-ku February 2 12:34

Ahead of the Setsubun on the 3rd, a demon-dive diver appears in the aquarium at the aquarium in Osaka, delighting visitors.

Every year at Kaiyukan in Minato-ku, Osaka, staff members who demonize as Oni-san divers appear during the Setsubun period.

On the 2nd, “Oni-san Diver”, a red demon and blue demon wearing tiger pattern pants, appeared in a giant aquarium where about 1,500 whale sharks and rays swimed and cleaned the aquarium.

They also waved to the visitors and took poses to take commemorative photos.

A 40-year-old man from Higashiosaka with his family said, "My son who attends kindergarten also knew the demon well and seemed to have fun."

A third-year high school student from Nagoya said, "It's interesting. I want to see divers dressed differently."

Mr. Hiroyuki Murakami of the Kaiyukan public relations team said, "I would like people to enjoy the seasonal events and raise their interest in the sea and creatures."

"Oni-san diver" will appear on the third day of Setsubun.
