Egypt is preparing to receive the baby number 100 million, as it is expected that the digital population watch on the front of the headquarters of the Central Agency for Mobilization and Statistics in central Cairo will announce the arrival of the child with the distinguished number.

The representative of the United Nations Population Fund in Egypt, Alexander Poderosa, said that the expected baby will join a people, every six out of ten people under the age of 29.

The population of Egypt at the time of writing this report reached 99,944,421 people, according to the official population time, which occurs around the clock.

"If we apply more discipline so that families have fewer children, we can reach fertility rates at 2.1 by 2032," said an official with the Egyptian Statistics Authority, Abdel Hamid Sharaf El-Din.

He added that this still means that the population will increase to 153 million by 2052, but if the fertility rate is 3.4, the number will reach 191 million.
