Oi Nuclear Power Station suspended provisional dismissal requested, Osaka High Court January 30, 15:09

The Osaka High Court has ruled to dismiss the petition for a provisional action requested by a man in Kyoto to stop operation of Units 3 and 4 at Kansai Electric Power's Ohi Nuclear Power Station in Fukui Prefecture.

A man in Nantan City, Kyoto, adjacent to Oi Nuclear Power Station Unit 3 and Unit 4 in Oi Town, Fukui Prefecture, drove three years ago as saying, "Lack of safety against a huge earthquake and danger to the lives and lives of residents" I have filed a preliminary action with the Osaka District Court seeking not to do so.

The Osaka District Court ruled last March that the nuclear power plant was insecure and there was no concrete danger of causing serious damage to residents.

The man was immediately appealed and the Osaka High Court was re-examining the case. However, he has recently decided to dismiss the man's petition following the Osaka District Court.

Units 3 and 4 of the Oi Nuclear Power Plant have passed the NRA's review and have been restarted, and commercial operation will continue.
