According to federal prosecutors, the marriage of R. Kelly and Aaliyah in 1994 was not romantic. Not only did the singer marry her when she was 15 and he was 27 (which is illegal, since Aaliyah's parents did not give their consent), but the wedding would only have been for prevent the singer from testifying against the interpreter of I Believe I Can Fly in the event of a trial. This is revealed by the new documents obtained by The Blast.

Late accusation
