During the Paris Fashion Week that is currently underway, the legendary French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier took his leave through a fashion show with references to his long work. Artist Boy George paid tribute to Gaultier through singing and a model was carried out in a coffin.

Jean-Paul Gaultier has been making clothes under his own name since 1976 and has made himself known as a humorous provocateur. He was one of the first to draw inspiration from the street, punk and gay clubs. His pointed corset for Madonna's Blond Ambition World Tour 1991 has gone to history.
